1. Agreement
By creating an account or using JobPilotX AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JobPilotX AI.
2. Service Description
JobPilotX AI provides:
- AI-powered resume parsing and profile creation
- Automated job discovery across multiple job boards
- AI job-candidate matching and scoring
- AI-generated cover letters and tailored resumes
- Automated job application submission (with your approval)
- ATS compatibility checking for resumes
- Application tracking and follow-up management
3. Account Registration
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
- You must provide accurate, complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Subscriptions and Payment
- Free plan: Limited to 5 job applications per month
- Paid plans: Starter (€19/mo), Pro (€39/mo), Unlimited (€79/mo)
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You may cancel anytime via your account settings — access continues until the end of the billing period
- Refunds are available within 14 days of first purchase if the Service was not substantially used (EU consumer right)
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide truthful information in your resume and profile — we are not responsible for inaccurate data you provide
- Review AI-generated content (cover letters, tailored resumes) before submission
- Ensure you have the right to apply to positions in the jurisdictions you target
- Do not use the Service for spam, fraud, or to misrepresent your qualifications
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
- Do not exceed your plan's application limits through technical means
6. AI-Generated Content
- Cover letters, tailored resumes, and screening answers are generated by AI based on your profile data
- AI output may occasionally be inaccurate — always review before submitting
- You are solely responsible for content submitted to employers in your name
- We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in job offers or interviews
- AI match scores are estimates and should not be the sole basis for career decisions
7. Automated Applications
- Applications are submitted only with your explicit approval (dry-run mode is the default)
- We are not responsible for employer responses, rejections, or interview outcomes
- Some job portals may block automated submissions — we cannot guarantee successful delivery
- You acknowledge that automated applications may be detected by some employers
- We implement rate limiting and human-like behavior to respect platform terms of service
8. Intellectual Property
- Your content: You retain ownership of your resume, profile data, and other content you upload
- AI-generated content: Cover letters and tailored resumes generated for you are yours to use
- Our platform: The Service, its design, code, and AI models are our intellectual property
- You grant us a license to process your content as needed to provide the Service
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee job placement, interviews, or employment outcomes
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- We are not responsible for actions taken by employers based on applications submitted through our Service
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Sections 8, 9, 11, and 12 survive termination
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the member state where the service operator is established, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under your local law.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
